2016-08-11 VIEW FROM HIGH LANE PARK

By | 2017-01-10T20:15:25+00:00 August 11th, 2016|New York|

From High Lane Park you get a different view from New York. The streets and buildings appear from angels you don’t get via the normal street views…

2016-07-13 HIGH LANE PARK WALK

By | 2017-01-10T20:15:27+00:00 July 13th, 2016|New York|

High Lane Park is an atypical park, though you have some trees, plants and grasses you walk on an old roadbed which is restored. By the way you can have some drinks and snacks and have a wonderful view onto the streets of New York. For me one of the top attractions.

2016-06-19 FAMOUS BUILDING IN NEW YORK

By | 2017-01-10T20:15:28+00:00 June 19th, 2016|New York|

The Dakota building was on my to do list to visit in New York, because John Lennon lived there. At passing by I looked at the building and I wondered, that there were some windows which were dark or some kind of cabinets or wooden panels behind. However I liked the building and the surroundings. It was also the home of movie stars.

2016-05-28 CONEY ISLAND BOARDWALK

By | 2017-01-10T20:15:28+00:00 May 28th, 2016|New York|

I have been fascinated by Coney Island since I heard from it first-time. It was in the Walter Hill-movie “The Warriors” where the gang had to escape from the Bronx through whole New York to Coney Island. Or David Bowie with his song “Slip away” and the lyrics “sailing over Coney Island ….”

2016-05-14 NO, THAT’S NOT ROME

By | 2017-01-10T20:15:29+00:00 May 14th, 2016|New York|

When I showed this photo to some friends, they thought this is a backyard of a building in Italy or Rome. But I did this photo in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY. I think this could fool many people, often reality and fiction are not so far away.

2016-05-12 NEW YORK AND THE INTREPID

By | 2017-01-10T20:15:29+00:00 May 12th, 2016|New York|

For me, the only opportunity to enter an aircraft carrier is to visit the USS Intrepid in New York. It’s fascinating how much iron and metal has been used and how massively this ship is built. Not only on the deck, also in the cabins. A real cool sight in NY !!

2016-05-03 UPPER EAST SIDE BUILDINGS

By | 2017-01-10T20:15:29+00:00 May 3rd, 2016|New York|

I think New York could fill a photographer’s life fully, endless perspectives and motives all around the city. I think it is the most photographed town of the world, so it can happen very fast, that you are ending with motives, which have been photographed many times before. But for me, I enjoy nearly every photo of NY  🙂

2016-04-17 GUIDES IN DEN USA

By | 2017-01-10T20:15:30+00:00 April 17th, 2016|New York|

2016-04-04 PARKPLÄTZE IN NEW YORK

By | 2016-04-04T19:11:56+00:00 April 4th, 2016|New York|

2016-03-24 TYPISCH HAMPTONS

By | 2017-01-10T20:15:31+00:00 March 24th, 2016|New York|
