PHOTO
- I tried manual focusing with the Zeiss Loxia 21mm lens. New for me, because normally I work with autofocus. Use the following hint: in the focus magnifier view, when the subject is increased, you have to turn the lens slowly until the subject gets sharp and focus peak color is saturated around the subject.
- Stocktaking of my photography equipment after year-end was one of my tasks. I sell my Leica D-Lux 5 and my Nikon Coolpix A at Ebay. Since I take care with my cameras, it looks as I would get a good price for both.

IT JOB
- Compliance work most of the week. The company got a Swedish license and we have to undergo an audit with GLI. IT infrastructure and IT security are priorities on the list. Which means updating policies and procedures, reviewing and updating network diagrams.
- I am in progress of ordering new F5-Big IPs load balancers. Got the first proposals to review and then think how I could get an even better price.
FRIENDS
- Again a meeting with two couple friends, where both men are barbers, in Neustift am Walde. The area with the wine bars called “Heuriger”. Rustic interior and wooden banks, a scrapped wine press and wrought iron lamps are typical for those restaurants. One friend called Rene, told jokes all the time and we couldn’t stop laughing.
MOVIES
- I started with several Netflix movies, but stopped after 5-10 minutes. No more interest to look further, all were boring or not my taste.

- Some pain in the elbow stopped me from full out training. Nevertheless I trained with more care and concentration.
