The cathedral and the central train station are close together in Cologne. I was able to take a few photos with the Leica M10 during the night.

2023-06-16 MORNING IN PASSAU
My wife Karin and I spent one night in Passau. After waking up, I grabbed my Sony Rx1R and took a morning photo of the hotel room balcony. I always like the view from the hotel window.

I liked it walking between the new buildings and restaurants in the harbor area in Düsseldorf. The tower is one of the landmarks of the city, shot with the Leica M10.

2022-10-21 SYLT WALK
The island of Sylt in the North Sea offers a dune landscape and wide boardwalks for hours of walking. The vegetation is unique; wild grasses and colorful moss line the walkways.

The photo shows one of the hotspots in Düsseldorf. We parked in the nearby parking garage. Then I got myself an espresso with my wife, and I was ready for the photo tour with the Leica M10.

In Duisburg, there was a photo exhibition by Andreas Gursky. The evening before, we visited the harbor area with many photo opportunities. We liked the new buildings nestled between the Kays and Bridges.

On the way to Düsseldorf, my wife Karin and I stayed one night in Cologne. We ate currywurst, and I used the rest of the evening to take a few photos of Cologne at night.

While my wife was still getting dressed, I took my Leica M and looked for motifs in the hotel room. A Selters is a name for German mineral water. That was my photo from the hotel in Düsseldorf.

The island of Sylt offers very balanced yet exciting perspectives in the eastern part of the island with the interplay of the foothills of the sea that hit the promontories and thus form extensive harmonies. A landscape shot with the Leica M8.
