PHOTO
- For a two hours flight I downloaded a photo manual of Max Rive Photography on my iPad. He shows very interesting technics of lightning and contrast tools in Photoshop. With the time I will start to add those technics to my post processing workflow.
- I bought a photo cloth for wrapping the camera. Often I have a lens and a camera in the photo bag, with wrapping the camera in the cloth it prevents the clash which can lead to abrasion.
IT JOB
- Tuesday was my flight to Malta. I visited the BMIT-Data Center in Smartcity to evaluate a new location for server housing. The data center is state of the art and has been built by Amazon Italia.
- For the database server setup, I am thinking of adding Optane Flash storage for hosting the temp-dbs of SQL Server. A faster solution than the external storage.

FRIENDS
- In the gym again, I met my photography friend, where we discussed about the new Leica Q2. A 47 megapixel compact camera for a price of $ 4,995.00. Wow!
- Since my neighbor was skiing with his girlfriend, I helped him with feeding his cat and fish. It was joy for me, feeding and seeing how it tasted for the animals.

MOVIES
- I started with the new season of the Italian series “Suburra”. A scheming Mafia-movie about three young gangsters which get into more and more troubles.
SPORT
- Since I have a cold I thought about going to the gym. Anyway, I made the decision to train through it and will meet my son at 1:15 pm for a training session.
