I took an hour off from our family evening-walking tour in Venice. Since my wife Karin, my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law are not interested in photography, they find it boring standing beneath a tripod and waiting for compositions. They also don’t find the excitement I get with night-time shots and picture effects like here, where the ship is completely abstracted from the foreground and find itself with light-strips on the photo.
