Night falls over Rome. The street lamps light up the streets. Occasionally people sit on the sidewalks and curbs. The weather is mild, a good time for a glass of red wine in Rome.

2021-10-06 THE SCIENCE FICTION BEACH HOUSE
The beach house at Lido de Venice reminds me of old science fiction films from the seventies. That would make a good space station, with antennas and a command center. I would be interested, what was the inspiration for this building.

Rain showers came down in Bologna. The streets were quickly empty; all pedestrians escaped under the arcades. Now and then, someone crossed the road, which I could use for photos.

London always turns into exciting pictures in the photos. Simple scenes get a touch which is made for photos. It is enjoyable to capture the many motifs; I never had to search long; I stumbled from one scene to the next.

2021-09-26 BIKER ON A HOT AFTERNOON
I often try to abstract the photos from the classic point of view and immerse them in a new light. With shadows, colors, and movement, images are created that stand out from standard photos. It is essential to be aware of the large number of cellphone photos that are taken every day.

This scene fits the start of a mystery thriller. An entrance in the back yard, a stranger, stands by the door, but you still have to go in to keep the appointment in the building.

2021-09-20 MY WIFE IN MOROCCO
On the way down from the Atlas Mountains, there were several restaurant bars. They were located on the side of the road next to the downhill street. We decided to stop at a restaurant with a roof terrace. An excellent tea was served there in Moroccan tea glasses. The photo was shot with the Sony A7R2 and the Sony Zeiss 55 1.8 lens.

2021-09-18 VAN GOGH MUSEUM
I wanted to photograph different details of the Van Gogh Museum than what you see anywhere on the web. With this staircase and the Asian girls looking at their smartphones, we have succeeded so far. This museum is a must-visit when in Amsterdam.

2021-09-16 WAITING FOR THE BATS
Austin has the famous bridge where millions of bats live. And in the evening, they should fly out in swarms. I lined up among the waiting people, hoping to be able to photograph the spectacle. In the end, I only saw a few dozen bats, but the tension and the bridge were worth it.
