2016-08-31 LITTLE VILLAGE IN THE WACHAU

The Wachau is a region at the Danube in Austria with viniculture where the grapevines grow on stony terraces, a bit like in the Tuscany. Around the villages are broadleaf forests and little hills with ruins form the age of chivalry.

2016-08-30 FARMERS MARKET IN SEATTLE

Beside of the very fresh fish, exotic spices, good smelling soaps and healthy snacks the Farmers Market got famous because of that motivational book: “FISH: A Proven Way to Boost Morale and Improve Results” – the Pike Place Fish Market was the inspiration because of its fun, bustling, joyful atmosphere

After visiting some churches I did a shot of this little street which represents Sicily in a very good way. Stylish, accentuated, Italian architecture …

2016-08-28 LITTLE INDIAN GIRL IN AGRA

At the Agra Fort suddenly this little Indian girl was running across a meadow. She looked very nice with the red dress so I shot this photo, I think she didn’t recognize it.

2016-08-27 PALAZZO CHRISTIANSBORG

With my limited spare time in Copenhagen I made nearly a photo rally. I switched to double quick mode and sprinted through the city to see as much as possible. On that day, I think it was one of the hottest days in Denmark and I was completely sweaty after this journey. Again I was surprised by the iPhone  🙂

Near Trieste and castle Miramare you can find this bay with boats any yachts. Going downstairs you get a very good espresso and smell of fresh, salty sea air.

2016-08-24 IMPRESSIONS OF MALTA

If you drive through the Maltese streets you cannot overlook the balconies, mostly each house has one. Those are relicts of the Moorish Epoch, they are built that women can hide from to be seen by the streets while at the same time they could observe the street scenes. Also the balconies with open windows provide a better circulation of fresh air in the Maltese houses, because windows are often only on the front and on the back of the flats.

2016-08-23 ONE OF THE MOST PHOTOGRAPHED MONUMENTS

I think even each child knows this building, if not by name then by appearance. It belongs to the top 5 of the most photographed buildings in the world. If you are standing in front of it, it’s not so easy to get a good composition. The whole place is crowded with tourists, self-proclaimed guides, self-proclaimed photographers  🙂  and securities and every one is shooting photos. So welcome to Taj Mahal..
