2016-10-31 COLORFUL TEMPLES IN INDIA

In New Delhi I was visiting temples for 2-3 days, I think I have seen a dozen of them. I had a very pleasant taxi driver from Ashok’s Taxi Tours, which I can fully recommend, who had driven me from temple to temple and had big patience when I was away taking photos 🙂  and exploring the sights, as here the Laxminarayan Temple.

2016-10-30 LAST HURDLE TO REACH VICTORIA PEAK

When you have reached that place, you are at the last hurdle to reach Victoria Peak in Hong Kong. Here the waiting before and the drive with the Peak Tram are over, you passed the walk through the souvenir shops and soon you are before the two big front doors to reach the observation deck.

2016-10-29 OLIVE TREE IN SICILY

In the backyard of the winery I looked around and saw that really old olive tree. I liked his branches and the jagged trunk, nobody there knew how old it was, but for sure older than the buildings, because they were built around this tree.

2016-10-28 MICROSOFT STORE IN BELLEVUE

The day before my visit at the Microsoft Executive Briefing center I had a stop at a shopping mall in Bellevue. There was also a Microsoft store. These stores look similar to the Apple stores, big glass fronts, wooden floor and dozen of flat tables with the products on it. And very nice and helpful employees. For me a must see …

2016-10-27 BLUE BRIDGE OVER BLUE DANUBE IN VIENNA

With the help of lights and the night I got three different blue-colors, the dark blue sky, the light blue bridge and the blue river mixed with mirrored light from different sources. For this photo I was standing on a bridge near the Schwedenplatz.

2016-10-26 HOLLOW WAY WITH WINE CELLARS

This hollow way with wine cellars is called “Kellergasse” in Austria. Each of these buildings has a wine cellar where the wine gets ripe. When the wine is in the stadium of a must there will be a wine cellar party with wine tasting in those lanes. 🙂

2016-10-25 CIRQUE DU SOLEIL in TORONTO

It was a great experience to see the Cirque du Soleil in its home town Toronto. Luzia is the newest show, with great music, water effects and spectacular acrobatic performance. One of the events you will remember for a very long time. For a shot handheld in completely darkness, the Leica X Vario did a good job.

2016-10-24 RAINY DAY IN MUNICH

During a rainy day in Munich I tried to take photos of the rain. This is one sample of the window in my hotel room with raindrops on it. Taking the photo in the dry zone and looking out to the rain is much easier than doing it outside in the rain …  🙂

2016-10-23 RED BUILDINGS IN INDIA

Nowhere I haven’t ever seen so many red buildings as in India, like Red Fort in Agra, Red Fort in New Delhi. Even in the backyarod of the Tomb of I’timād-ud-Daulah in Agra you find many “mini” Red Forts like shown here on the photo. Many of these buildings are sights for their own.

2016-10-22 WATER, TOWN AND WATER IN MALTA

I like this perspective, water of the pool in the front, then buildings of Sliema and then water of the sea. This view can be achieved at the pool of The Palace Hotel. After taking photos you can jump into the pool and then on the right side there is a delicious Sushi bar  🙂
