Malibu is a thin strip of beach with beach houses, Highway 1, and a narrow strip of homes on the other side. In between, you can see bars and restaurants. You have a great view from the Malibu pier.

2021-12-15 COFFEE TO GO
My wife Karin wanted to buy Asian food. We drove to the Mochi in the second district of Vienna. To shorten the waiting time, I had a camera to take pictures of the surroundings. This coffee-to-go shop offered itself as an introductory photo.

2021-12-13 PHOTO WALK IN BOLOGNA
I attended a Crif company conference, after in invitation from this company. They offered a guided tour of Bologna, and I was happy to participate with my wife, Karin. While the participants’ equipment was with cell phones, I took all the photos with the Leica M240. A pleasure and a joy to work with the rangefinder camera.

Notre Dame church, currently being renovated after the devastating fire. Still a pivotal point in Paris that you shouldn’t miss. The church is full of legend, history, and drama.

This scene is typical for many European cities. The Seine flows through the city of Paris; bridges connect the two halves. The towns were preferably built at rivers from London to Rome, Prague to Vienna to Budapest.

2021-12-04 MOUNTAIN HOTEL IN DAVOS
This hotel in Davos can only be reached by cable car, and it takes you on a journey into the past. The furnishings with old crystal luster, brass paneling, and leather armchairs are reminiscent of the 1950s, a flair that fascinated me.

2021-12-01 IT’S SIMPLE AND THE BEST
For many the best pizzeria in the world. There are only Margherita and variations of it, 3-4 simple varieties to choose from. My first way after arriving in Naples was to the Pizzeria da Michele. The pizza costs only €6 and is unforgettable.

2021-11-20 BUDAPEST AT THE DANUBE
The promenades along the Danube offer many photo opportunities. The orange tram and the many pedestrians who stroll along and stop in cafes also run there.

2021-11-15 LANDSCAPE IN SYLT
The photo shows the eastern side of Sylt. There you can see fewer cliffs. It is flat with tongues of the sea that pull into the land. This landscape brings a new facet to the fascinating North Sea.
