2016-05-20 BRIDGES IN VENICE
There are many, many bridges in Venice, sure because with those many canals it is a need to cross them. They come in in different heights, form factors and widths, but you’ll not find many with flowers. This one was near the Piazza San Marco. I did this photo after I bought some of the very nice colorful drinking glasses which are unique to Venice and Murano.
2016-05-19 AGRA AND OTHER TEMPLES
The Taj Mahal is not the one and only sight you can see in Agra. I would recommend the Tomb of I’timad ud Daulah, also a mausoleum and a little Taj Mahal. Surrounded by red brick walls it resides in a green park scenery, near the river Yamuna.

2016-05-18 BAG STORE IN VENICE
The Italian style doesn’t stop in the streets and with architecture, it continues in many shops and restaurants. The color tones and quality of those bags is wonderful, but from the price it’s also on the higher side. But looking is inexpensive 🙂

2016-05-16 SUNNY DAY IN AMERSFOORT
Amersfoort is a Dutch city with all ingredients for a beautiful day. Some canals, city wall, old town, Mondriaan exhibition, shopping street, beer pub and some cool dining destinations. Also really nice alleys, as shown on the photo here.

2016-05-14 NO, THAT’S NOT ROME
When I showed this photo to some friends, they thought this is a backyard of a building in Italy or Rome. But I did this photo in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY. I think this could fool many people, often reality and fiction are not so far away.

2016-05-13 MOUNTAIN IN BLACK AND WHITE
I often think, how mountains look cooler in color or in black and white. For this photo from Tyrol near Ischgl I have chosen b&w. I did this from the balcony of my hotel, really cool if you go out and have the mountains around you. The lens used was the Sony Zeiss 135 1.8.

2016-05-12 NEW YORK AND THE INTREPID
For me, the only opportunity to enter an aircraft carrier is to visit the USS Intrepid in New York. It’s fascinating how much iron and metal has been used and how massively this ship is built. Not only on the deck, also in the cabins. A real cool sight in NY !!
