2016-06-17 THE PENINSULA HONG KONG
After a long bus tour through the streets of Hong Kong it got night already. On the way to the ferry I couldn’t resist to take a HDR photo series of the Peninsula, though I hadn’t my tripod with me. I like hotels in the night with bright lightning and cool architecture.

2016-06-16 LAKE NEUSIEDL WITH SINKING SUN
Lake Neusiedl is a steppe sea, with a depth of only 1.5 meters and very muddy water. Sometime it gets really windy, then it’s a paradise for kite surfing and sailing. If weather is calm you can rent electro boats and drive with them through the reeds. Evening is nice for having a cool drink at a bar and taking photos 🙂

2016-06-15 SEATTLE WITH HOUSES AT THE SEA
Even in Seattle you can find some places with houses built directly at the sea, where you can put in with a boat and walk directly into your home. That’s really cool. If you go out of the house you have the waterway in front of you.

2016-06-14 NIGHTLY STREET IN VIENNA
I like streets, streetlights and, if it’s possible, a tower in the background, and all of this in the night, and here I have it. Three kinds of streets, one for cars, one for bikes and the third one for pedestrians. Some meters on the right side, there is a subway. So all important transportation lines of a city very near.

2016-06-13 WILD RIVER IN SWITZERLAND
Beneath quality and watches, for what does Switzerland stand for? It’s clear, clean, fresh water, maybe the best natural water in the world. Most of the rivers have drinking water quality. Even looking at those rivers makes you fresh, here nature is as it should be.

2016-06-12 POSTCARD FROM NICE
I think sending postcards is nearly dead, with fast and often real time photo uploads, where is the need? But I remember my childhood days, where we went to the postcard rack, and chose the cards for family and relatives. There was a rule by the post, that with more words written, the sending of the cards got more expensive, the good old days …. Nowadays everyone can shoot his own postcard motives, look after a good observation point and let’s start shooting, like here in Nice.

2016-06-11 CITY CENTER OF MILAN
The place to go in Milan is the city center with the dome. With this place and the surroundings, you can use the whole day for shooting hundreds of photos. Since I had no tripod with me and it was night already, I took my photos hand held.

2016-06-09 TREES IN TOKYO
Tokyo is the biggest metropolitan area of the world. There are differing boroughs, some look like villages, other like suburbs and some like high tech mega cities. And at times you can find some trees which look pretty cool if they get the right light.
