2017-03-16 SKY ATTRACTION IN TOKYO

I tried this benign attraction in Tokyo. You get lifted up on a metal construction with a banister when you have reached the designated height you get a great view of the endless city. After two minutes you hover down with a parachute, all backed with steel ropes. So absolutely save, gives you a bit fun. (But you should be free from giddiness) 🙂

2017-03-15 ELEPHANT STATUE IN DELHI

Near the Lakshmi Narayan temple, I discovered this elephant statue. It is wonderfully crafted, made of stone and concrete, is rock solid and will last for centuries. Besides the “big, famous” sights you can find so many different, exciting attractions in many places. 🙂

2017-03-14 COLORFUL LIGHTNING IN THE NIGHT

This harmony of lights, water and buildings is unique in Venice. I took this photo from a driving water bus in the evening. Even the noise of higher ISO 12.800 of my Sony A7S looks not so bad because the conditions of the buildings look in the real world a bit like the noise of the photo. 🙂

2017-03-13 NORDIC WALKING IN THE GREEN

I practice two sports regularly; one is working out in the fitness center, the other is Nordic Walking in nature. The first one gives you power and strength, and the second one gives you endurance and fresh air. And beautiful impressions of woods and trees, if you choose this path.

2017-03-12 SOFITEL VIENNA

Sofitel is one of the newer, stylish hotels in Vienna, and it lies near the Danube canal and the first district. In this building complex, you can also find furniture stores and a steakhouse on the ground floor. If you are in Vienna, it’s worth a visit 🙂

2017-03-11 AGRICULTURE IN LOWER AUSTRIA

I used the sunny afternoon last Saturday for some shots with my DJI Phantom 4 Pro. I flew up to the maximum default height which is about 100/328 m/ft to get a view of the full horizon. (Higher Height could be adjusted in the settings to 300 m or more).

These areas live from agriculture like wheat, sugar beets, corn, and wine. The land is mostly flat with some smooth hills.

2017-03-10 RAINY DAY IN TOKYO

In Tokyo, you can experience so many different things. But there are some common typical characteristics you can see again and again in many parts of the city. Those are the colorful (neon)lights, crowded streets with many people going up and down, good dressed Japanese and modern, new buildings.

2017-03-09 SPA IN STEGERSBACH

Austria is famous for its many spas. They bring you a modern accommodation, healthy food (often three times a day), sauna, solarium, swimming pools with thermal water, often a health club and body massages for the ones who want it. Many people take a stay of 3-5 days, a real recovery package which brings back some lost energies. Even dogs are allowed 🙂

2017-03-08 AZURE WINDOW IN MALTA

I have taken this shot at the northernmost part of Gozo, which is one of the Maltese islands. It is always interesting to think about how nature has built that hole in the rocks. Maybe it lasted millions of years. 2017-03-07 PARK NEAR TRIESTE

A big, beautiful park surrounds Castle Miramare near Trieste, with lovely green areas, sculpted trees, little bridges, viaducts and those statues, this is the Italian style. The harmony of that field is a great design work and it reminds you of times where kings and queens have governed Europe.
