2017-01-25 STREET WITH RAILS IN NICE

Nice by night, a unique experience, walking through the streets in a mild summer’s night …  But with crossing this street you should be a bit careful and look around, the tram is very calm when it comes along… 🙂

2017-01-24 NEW DELHI’S FASCINATING TEMPLES

In New Delhi our taxi driver was a Sikh and one of the nicest guys I ever met. He invited us to join him visiting the Sikh temple “Gurudwara Bangla Sahib”. I loved the atmosphere in the temple and the surrounding area which was very quiet and relaxing. We even got a Sikh meal, which tasted a bit like a honey-Müsli, named Karah Parshad.  🙂

2017-01-23 DJI PHANTOM FIRST FLIGHT

You can rely on Amazon delivery, the DJI Phantom 4 Pro arrived on time. This weekend I took it for the first flight. The navigation for flying is fairly easy, but to get very accurate videos and photos you have to practice some time. From my first experience, I can recommend this quadcopter, it’s an exciting experience and a really professional tool.  🙂

Here my first Phantom video:

2017-01-22 BERLIN WITH MODERN ARCHITECTURE

Beside the Currywurst  🙂  I have been fascinated by the diverse architectural styles in Berlin. It was interesting driving on the Spree and exploring the buildings which came along the river. I was standing at the reeling and was prepared and ready to shoot  🙂

2017-01-21 LOVELY STREET IN ITALY

Italian streets are unique, these styles, architecture and colors…  you will only find there. And the culture has been coined for thousands of years, back to the Roman Empire. This scene of Venice was a bit off the tourist zones, still very lovely to watch and go around  🙂

2017-01-20 LANDSCAPE OF ANCIENT SWITZERLAND

This landscape has been shot in Uri, one of the three founding cantons of Switzerland ( Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden). My wife and me were on the way down from Gotthard Pass where I saw the crest of Uri. I searched after a parking lot to take my camera and soon I was in the valley shooting photos. The grass was so green, a paradise for every cow. 🙂

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Shutter speed: 1/125s
  • Focal length: 36mm
  • ISO: 50

DJI PHANTOM 4 PRO – COMING SOON

I ordered the quadcopter at Amazon Prime and it should arrive this week. Then I have some work to do with the authorities, in Austria you have to register the device at the Austro Control and have to wait about 2 months for the permission to fly which is valid for 2 years. Red tape  😐 , however my plan is to fly between the mountains of Ischgl end of April  🙂

2017-01-18 COOKING AT GRAND HYATT VIENNA

I like it to go to hotel bars, have a good drink, most often an Italian cocktail like Cynar or Averna and chat a bit and have a good time. Last time I was at the Grand Hyatt Vienna, a top hotel with a cool bar and an open kitchen, as you can see on the photo.

2017-01-16 LIGHTING IN TORONTO

I was on the way with a hop on – hop off bus when I decided to leave and take a walk by foot. I was near the Commerce Court when I wanted to eat some Nachos with Guacamole. Inside the building with the food court, I saw those interesting lighting which gave a modern touch to that place.

  • Camera: ILCE-7R
  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Shutter speed: 1/160s
  • Focal length: 14mm
  • ISO: 1600
