2020-03-19  ATLAS MOUNTAINS

The image shows one of my stopping points where I stepped out of the car to shoot the photos. The fascination of the Atlas mountains was the different nature of the mountains, from steep grass hills to alpine mountain peaks. And all of this close together.

2020-03-18  OPERA HOUSE IN VIENNA

The opera house called “Staatsoper” or Vienna State Opera shot from the Albertina-side. Recently I read an article that once it was destroyed so that the former government thought of completely demolish it. Good decsision that it was not done.

2020-03-17  SAN FRANCISCO FROM VW BUS

I was quite excited when we made the San Francisco tour with a Volkswagen Bus, named “Bullie.” It was from the seventies, fully restored. When sitting in the front row, I used the opportunity to shoot some photos directly through the window.

2020-03-14  MORNING SUN GREETS IN MALTA

After pulling the curtains apart, this was my morning greetings from the sun in Malta. The whole room filled with warm air. Starting in the day got a lot easier, a bathroom, shower, clothing, and breakfast. I was then taking my bag, waiting for the taxi, and driving to the office. I stopped with rental cars; it’s much more comfortable with the taxi if you are accustomed to driving on the right side of the street. Since in Malta, it’s the opposite.

2020-03-12  GELATI IN ITALY

The ice cream parlor is an Italian institution. Sooner or later, you will go in and come out with a large portion of ice cream. 🙂 Verona in the evening.

2020-03-09  MUSEUM IN SAN FRANCISCO

In museums, I prefer to shoot the premises more than exponents. They have their unique style, which you only see in public areas. If some exhibited animals complete the picture, all the better. Mostly I use wide-angle lenses; they bring the dimensions better to show off.

2020-03-08  SUBWAY IN STOCKHOLM

Showing the speed of the subway on the photo. Many of Stockholm’s metro stations are art installations. You can stay there for half a day with shooting photos. Be sure to search at Google, where the most favorable stations are. On the way there, you can always take a snack and then concentrate on your photo tour.

2020-03-07  ON THE WAY TO A HOTEL IN STOCKHOLM

Often I go into hotels and sitting down at the hotel bar. I love the vibe of hotels, the coming and going, watching at the piano man, playing a song. It is a kind of cosmopolitan, of internationalism and often a place of great history.

2020-03-05  THE MULTIFACETED SKYLINE OF CHICAGO

I can recommend taking the boat tour on the Chicago River. Then use shutter priority with 1/800 and upwards to avoid blur from the shaking boat and handheld shots. You will end with decent shots of this spectacular skyline. With some luck, you will get a woodpecker on the photo. 🙂
