2020-06-10 CHURCH IN PRAGUE

As I saw the photo on the weekend, I couldn’t remember which church it was, but I think it was near Prague Castle. The staircases on the left and right, which lead to the higher platform, the old masonry, and the light effects, contribute to a unique experience. In the end, I decided to convert the picture to black and white, which underscores the mystery effects.

2020-06-09 YOGA OUTDOORS

Yoga outdoors, on the green lawn, fresh air, and the sun, as I have seen in the Stadtpark in Vienna. It would be an excellent alternative to my Yoga program at home before my iPad. Once I did an outdoor session at a lake, variety counts.

2020-06-08 JOGGING THROUGH THE CITIES

Jogging through the cities is much more interesting than between the fields or at the edge of the forest. Between parks, trams, and bike paths, you get impressions of the hustle and bustle of the city and provide the body with cardio endurance. As here on the photo in the later afternoon.

2020-06-07 BARCELONA ARCHITECTURE

One of the many sites for modern architecture in Barcelona is the CaixaForum. I spent at least as much time outside for my photos as I did for the inside.

2020-06-06 THE MYSTERY GARDEN AROUND THE CASTLE

I saw that garden around the Eckartsau Castle, which got a mystery touch with the Leica M240 jpg-setting for “strong color film.” With this style, the garden can be used for scary movies where a group of teenagers explore an old castle and get into trouble during their excursion. Or a Hitchcock thriller where the showdown ends in a castle.

2020-06-05 CHARLES BRIDGE IN THE NIGHT

I could use the parapet of a restaurant as a replacement for a tripod. So I was able to get the light-stars which are impossible to achieve with a hand-held camera and a high f-stop. I often search after tripod-replacements, because I don’t want to carry tripods; usually, they stay in my suitcase. 🙂

2020-06-04 MY WIFE LIKED THE ROSES

My wife Karin and I came to our tour on the ring road at a small park near the Wollzeile. A strong scent of roses came to us from afar. Karin took the opportunity to smell the roses and I was ready with a photo.

2020-06-03 ABSTRACT PHOTO BERLIN

The photo would be a good album cover for an electronic band. I wanted to bring a new view of Berlin with my pictures. A great German group of electronic music, even one of the inventors, was Kraftwerk.

2020-06-02 GO FOR A WALK IN THE AFTERNOON

For my wife Karin and me, mostly Sunday afternoon is a good day to go for a walk. Around Vienna, there are some parks and forest areas to stroll around. With the camera, I am always refreshing my portfolio.
