2020-07-31 PARLIAMENT IN BUDAPEST

The Parliament in Budapest is a huge building and a must-see. Unfortunately, it was not possible to go in; some guards informed us that it was closed. We could look at the massive building from the outside and come home with some excellent photos.

2020-07-29 A WALK THROUGH THE STREETS OF LONDON

I love to walk the streets of London and see the different bars and restaurants. You always experience a surprise with different lettering, lighting, and architecture.

2020-07-28 CELL PHONE SHOP IN BARCELONA

I always wonder why so many people need different phone cases. If I have chosen my case, it stays on until I change my phone. As I have seen in Barcelona, those stores are often the most frequented ones. However, I think it’s some hobby or habit for the younger generation.

2020-07-27 SCHWARZENBERGPLATZ IN VIENNA

The Schwarzenbergplatz is one of the central squares in Vienna. It connects the three districts of the city and is near to many famous hotels and cafes. It is an excellent time to take photos in the early evening, where the first lights turned on.

2020-07-26 SNOW IN MOROCCO

The road was almost over in the Atlas Mountains when we discovered the snow on the side of the road. Always fascinating, 35 degrees Celsius in the valley and on the mountains the last foothills of the snow.

2020-07-24 LEICA M8 OR IPHONE

My wife does all her shooting with the iPhone. I countered with the Leica M8, and in the end, the pictures of the Leica are fascinating, though the iPhone does the job very well. I think with the Leica; it’s 80% optics and 20% software; with the iPhone, it’s the contrary. With these comparisons, the time passed while waiting for my brother on a park bench in Budapest.

2020-07-23 THE DOOR TO THE STREET

My daughter and my wife were already on the way out. I was behind and could catch this scene with the painted door and two women on the street—a symbol for search and for what to do next in the big city.

2020-07-22 ROSE GARDEN IN THE CITY

I saw that rose garden by accident in the city of Vienna. It was in full bloom. The sun made the roses shine even more—one more time to take the camera for shooting.

2020-07-20 BUSINESS TRIP TO MALTA

At times my hotel was happily chosen for the business trip to Malta. The “Palace Hotel” offers a rooftop pool with panoramic views of Malta and the Mediterranean. Especially at sunset you can see the soft colors and feel the pleasant warmth of the sun.

2020-07-18 FIRST TIME AMERICAN FOOTBALL

It was in Houston, Texas, where I saw my first time American Football game. While I tried to understand the rules of the game, I used the moments of excitement to take photos. A great experience in a great stadium, the shows, and games are always worth visiting. The area outside is like a big party, with a barbecue, beer and a good time. I liked the drummer boys, which made a good mood.
