2020-11-24  PIGEONS AT THE WIEN RIVER

While strolling through the city park in the afternoon, I could see the dozen white pigeons flying around in all directions. They gathered at the bottom of the Vienna River, and all flew upwards at the same time. In this situation, the iPhone was a good replacement for my camera.

2020-11-22  HOLE IN THE ROCK FACE

Nature is always good for surprises, like this passage between two sea tongues in Malta. The area is ideal for swimming and snorkeling and offers spectacular rock walls that rise up next to the sea. It is the south-eastern part of Malta.

In January 2020 in London, times were still different. In the good old days where the city was in full power, Covid was only known from the newspapers. At that time, I was at the ICE, where 10,000 people were in the exhibition halls. In the evening, I used a few hours to take photos.

At the foot of Masada lies this chain of hills that stretch to the Dead Sea. Again one of the natural phenomena that surround the Dead Sea. The area consists mostly of rocks, cliffs, and salt crusts, but the shape and appearance are unique.
