Some districts in Tokyo bring you these modern clean buildings that I like so much. The photo shows the area near Toyota-World. It was a 40-minute subway ride to get there.

2021-04-10 LEICA 3D POP
While waiting for a Schnitzel-Burger I took some street portraits of my son Dorian. The Leica M9 combined with the Summilux 50mm 1.4 Gen 3 brings the often mentioned Leica 3D pop. The photo is out-of-camera.

2021-04-08 THE AMSTERDAM PICTURE
The photo has it all, canal, boat, bridge, bikes, and pedestrians, all ingredients which make Amsterdam. I know there are a bit more crooked houses, coffee shops, and flower markets. Since my daughter will do her master’s study in Amsterdam, I will see the city more often in the future.

2021-04-07 BUSY STREETS IN TOKYO
For me, walking through the streets of Tokyo was an endless film of photo opportunities where I only had to snap off at the right moment. The lights’ combination, the movement, and the cityscape quickly filled my SD cards in the camera. My wife had to bear the frequent stops. To compensate, I accompanied her to the shopping center.

2021-04-05 DOWNTOWN LA
When I left the parking garage, I disabused myself. The estimated $ 4 was not the price for an hour, as I was used to in Europe. It was the price for a parking time of 10 minutes. A whole afternoon would be painful; I was only inside for 1 hour.

The photo was taken six months before the lockdown. The streets were an endless sea of cars, the pedestrian area of the strip crowded. It will take a while until it becomes the Las Vegas we want to see.

2021-04-02 BURGER BAR IN BARCELONA
I didn’t visit this burger bar because I had an invitation to the Hard Rock Cafe. I used half an hour of free time to do a photo tour. Barcelona, in particular, offers a variety of small pubs and shops that are good for snapshots.

2021-03-30 FIREFIGHTER IN VENICE
It is not difficult to guess that the fire brigade in Venice is also on boats. On the opening day of the carnival, the fire brigade boats drove down the canal to check that everything was going well before the event.
