Como is a lovely city for strolling around, looking at the old town and walking towards the harbor with Lake Como. In the evening, a friendly mood sinks, and it gets a thoughtful touch.

2022-04-11 THE WILD LANDSCAPE OF THE DOLOMITES
The photo shows the wild landscape of the Dolomites on the way to the Three Peaks. The pointed mountain peaks, jagged rocks, and stones characterize the appearance. The landscape would also be in good hands in a science fiction film.

We took the sea route from Sausalito to San Francisco. When the skyline appeared, I grabbed my camera. Always an impressive sight when approaching a big city by ship.

2022-04-06 CELLAR ALLEY IN FALKENSTEIN
Lower Austria is famous for its cellar alleys, known as “Kellergasse”. One wine cellar follows the next, and often there is a bar directly from the basement. The current types of wine are tapped and served with bread and cheese to taste.

I often prefer to photograph factories and backyards than tourist attractions. I also looked for these motifs in Barcelona. It reminds me of album covers of rock bands.

2022-03-26 SPRING BREAK IN AUSTRIA
Spring begins for us with a cold morning of 2 degrees Celsius, which turns into heat to 19 degrees Celsius during the day. So in the morning, you need a winter jacket, in the afternoon a vest is enough.

If you are in India I can recommend visiting Agra. This park alone brings you half a day of strolling around and taking a ton of photos. But it doesn’t stop here, there is also a Red Fort and the Taj Mahal.

My wife Karin and I sometimes take a few hours on Sunday afternoons to walk around downtown Vienna. I usually take the Leica M10 with me, and it’s the most fun for me to take pictures with this camera.
