This is one of the shopping centers in Amsterdam with historic background. You can see the nice arcs and stony facades which brings you a special experience going over those gangways and steps.
On my todo list in Amsterdam was visiting a flower market. I could see thousands of flower bulbs, flower seeds and young seedlings. Some plants looked so cool, that I wanted take them home, too bad, that I live more von 1000 miles away. But nevertheless, walking around was great and I could bring home some new impressions. By the way, I never saw such colorful cactuses before.
This market brings you, what the Netherlands stand for, flowers in all colors and variations, plants and seeds for the case, that you live far away and want to try to plant the flowers by yourself. A nice experience and worth the walk.
For those who are interested in beer brewing and don’t say no to some beer after the exhibition 🙂 visit the Heineken experience. It’s a fun walking tour about history and kind of stuff from which beer is made. That’s supported with multi media and some cool Heineken gadgets to buy.
Es macht Spass über Brücken und Grachten zu gehen und dabei die liebliche Architektur der Häuser zu erkunden. Mit einem Fahrrad kann man die Erkundungen massiv ausweiten und somit die ganze Stadt kennenlernen. Mein Tip, Fahrrad ausleihen und Gas geben. Der Verkehr ist zu Beginn etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, auch Motorroller konkurrieren auf dem Fahrradstreifen. 🙂
