Malibu is a thin strip of beach with beach houses, Highway 1, and a narrow strip of homes on the other side. In between, you can see bars and restaurants. You have a great view from the Malibu pier.

There wasn’t much time left before sunset, and I still had a long list of photos in front of me. I was fascinated by the mixture of deciduous trees and mountains and sun on this sidewalk.

I think the photo could also sell as an intro in a science fiction film. But it comes from the real world; the aquarium in San Francisco presents itself in such a guise. Many different exhibition windows make attractive windows to the marine world.

2021-05-14 COAST AT THE HIGHWAY ONE
While we were driving along Highway 1 in California, we stopped several times to enjoy the view of the ocean. We then stopped a few miles north in a seafood restaurant where we sat on a terrace with a sea view.

When I left the parking garage, I disabused myself. The estimated $ 4 was not the price for an hour, as I was used to in Europe. It was the price for a parking time of 10 minutes. A whole afternoon would be painful; I was only inside for 1 hour.

2020-10-16 STATUE OF V-J DAY IN TIMES SQUARE
In San Diego Bay you can see the plasticization of one of the most famous photos in the world. The kissing sailor in Times Square, called “V-J Day in Times Square”.

2020-05-30 THE FRUITS OF A JOSHUA TREE
I think nobody will eat these fruits, but they gave an excellent extension to the picture. An extraordinary experience to see these trees. In Joshua Tree National Park, sometimes you think you are on another planet with all these exotic plants and desert landscapes.
