My wife and I often choose to tour the city by open-top tourist bus rather than trekking for miles on asphalt roads. While waiting for departure, I shot some photos of the streets in Catania.

You don’t see this landscape very often. A steaming mountain, snow between lava ash and rough boulders reminiscent of a planet in Star Trek. The fantastic scenery of Mount Etna.

Como is a lovely city for strolling around, looking at the old town and walking towards the harbor with Lake Como. In the evening, a friendly mood sinks, and it gets a thoughtful touch.

2022-04-11 THE WILD LANDSCAPE OF THE DOLOMITES
The photo shows the wild landscape of the Dolomites on the way to the Three Peaks. The pointed mountain peaks, jagged rocks, and stones characterize the appearance. The landscape would also be in good hands in a science fiction film.

The many switchbacks always offer a magnificent view of the sea and the coast. At times the road is relatively narrow, then millimeter work is required. But it’s the only way to the Amalfi Coast.
