My son Maro enjoys the view from Castle Nuovo over Naples. Broad walls line the windows in this gigantic castle. A hodgepodge of stone architecture and decorative art enriches the exhibitions.

2022-01-01 CASTLE NUOVO IN NAPLES
After the bus tour, we got off at Castle Nuovo station. We took a ticket and were then able to explore the castle on foot. The visit was a fund of motifs for every photographer.

The cheese bar is magnificent, the bread excellent, the ham fresh, this combination brings you a mouth-watering Italian sandwich. I found this grocery by accident on the way to the Amalfi coast.

2021-12-13 PHOTO WALK IN BOLOGNA
I attended a Crif company conference, after in invitation from this company. They offered a guided tour of Bologna, and I was happy to participate with my wife, Karin. While the participants’ equipment was with cell phones, I took all the photos with the Leica M240. A pleasure and a joy to work with the rangefinder camera.

2021-12-01 IT’S SIMPLE AND THE BEST
For many the best pizzeria in the world. There are only Margherita and variations of it, 3-4 simple varieties to choose from. My first way after arriving in Naples was to the Pizzeria da Michele. The pizza costs only €6 and is unforgettable.
