A great way to relax is to sit under a tree on a Sunday afternoon with a view over Vienna. You can drive along Himmelstraße to reach the viewpoints. The Leica M8 camera is a lot of fun to use.

2025-01-26, TÜRKENSCHANZPARK IN THE DARK
Before my wife, Karin, and I drove home after our Saturday afternoon invitation, we wanted to stretch our legs. The Türkenschanzpark, shrouded in fog and illuminated by nighttime lights, provided a great opportunity for an evening walk. I also brought my Leica M8 to capture the atmosphere.

My wife, Karin, wanted ice cream in the winter. This was difficult in sub-zero temperatures, as only a few coffee houses offered ice cream. When we began our search, I had my Sony RX1R with me—a lightweight and excellent full-frame camera in a compact body.

2024-09-28, FATHER AND SON
I was strolling through the Danube Park in Vienna at night. The paths were covered with fallen leaves, and the surroundings were illuminated by the night lanterns. A father and his son were making their way home. I had my Sony A7R IV and Sony Zeiss 135mm 1.8 with me to capture some photos.
