Hotel at the Parkring in Vienna, between the Stadtpark, Ringstrasse and the First District which is the old town, or called Innere Stadt. I like older hotels with history, where past times have left their mark on the lobby and furnishings.

2019-12-20 SITTING OUTSIDE IN THE WINTER MONTHS
Many restaurants have installed radiant heaters. So you can make yourself comfortable even in the winter months. Like here in the photo of my son Dorian, who is sitting in the restaurant Schwarzes Kameel.

2019-12-19 MAK Museum of Applied Arts
Once a year, there is an exhibition where all museums have free entry until 1 am in Vienna. My wife Karin and I visited four museums within four hours, and I brought home about 500 photos. The picture of the day is the entry room of the MAK, which I shot with a wide-angle lens.

2019-12-16 STILL LIFE OF A TABLE
The Schwarzes Kameel is my favorite restaurant and bar in Vienna. Sitting there, in the outside area, is pretty much cool, you have the old restaurant from the 16th century on one side and the busy pedestrians on the other side. The waiters with a dress code and bow tie are top. Very lovely to sit and have a good time. I often try to get different photos there, as here from the table with glasses.

2019-12-15 OUTSIDE THE SPORTS BAR
While my wife and my daughter were busy with window shopping, I was with my son Maro on the Parkring in Vienna. We saw a sports bar which was full, whatever on a Saturday with all the football leagues playing. Our decision was waiting for some minutes outside and hoping to get a place. In the meantime, I could shoot some photos of my son.

2019-12-12 CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY
Now is the time where the whole city of Vienna represents itself in Christmas decorations. Many streets show Christmas lightning. Often you get a full Xmas-experience, from one Christmas market to the next, connected via Xmas-decorated lanes. What do you need more to get in Christmas mood?

2019-12-09 MY SON ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON
After a two hours session in the gym, we were starving. I drove with my son Maro to the Naschmarkt to eat a Kebap. At Dr. Falafel, they have the best, with chicken or falafel, spicy sauces, and fresh vegetables. We continued shopping at the market with fruits, eggs, and meat for the coming week. After that, I added a half on hour photo session, where I could get some beautiful portrait shots.

2019-12-05 MY WIFE KARIN IN FRONT OF THE CHRISTMAS MARKET
Not far away from the statue which I posted yesterday, I made the photo of my wife Karin with the illuminated and decorated trees of the Christmas market in the background. Not a bad job for my Leica M240 with only available light as the source for the composition.

2019-12-04 STATUE IN 1010 VIENNA
1010 is the postal code of the first district in Vienna. In the Volksgarten, you can see that Roman looking building named “Theseustempel.” It is the home of many artists with changing exhibitions. In the evening the building was closed already, but I could shoot a photo of the statue in front, which represents the latest exhibition.

2019-12-01 COFFEE BREAK ON THE MARKET
Last Sunday I was with my family at the Brunnenmarkt in Vienna. After eating a Kebap, we went to an outdoor Cafe which served self-ground coffee. For afternoon happenings, I always have my camera with me. In this case, I made a portrait session of my kids. On the photo my son Dorian waiting for an espresso.
