2022-01-11 AUSTRIAN ALPS
The Dachstein in Styria is a glacier with a viewing terrace. There you stand in front of an extensive alpine panorama. If the visibility is good, you can add many mountain photos to your portfolio. I used a telephoto lens to bring specific mountains on the photo. A wide-angle lens would not be suitable for these kinds of panoramas.

2022-01-09 WILD GRASS IN SYLT
Sylt is a grand island right in the North Sea. Part of the island provides a jetty. There you can walk between the dune grasses next to the coast and admire the sea’s waves. In good weather, there are also impressive clouds in the sky.

The art history museum in Vienna is more reminiscent of a magnificent palace than a museum. Colossal marble columns and wide stone stairs line the floors. Many places offer good opportunities to take photos. You almost forget to visit the exhibitions in the museum.

2022-01-03 THE FESTIVE SEASON ENDS
The last stalls of the Christkind markets will close soon. The festive season ends on January 6th with the three kings holiday. The new year is waiting for the start with full power.

2022-01-01 CASTLE NUOVO IN NAPLES
After the bus tour, we got off at Castle Nuovo station. We took a ticket and were then able to explore the castle on foot. The visit was a fund of motifs for every photographer.

2021-12-31 SCHÖNBRUNN CASTLE IN THE NIGHT
The castle walls and the decorated trees create a fantastic harmony at night. Always a good idea to have a fast lens with you. I used the Sigma 35mm 1.4 A-Mount with the LA-EA5 adapter on the Sony A7R IV for the nightly walk. A power combo for low-light photography.

2021-12-27 KINGS CANYON LAKE
There was a roadblock in Kings Canyon National Park due to fire risk. Heaven showed us that the time is running out to take good photos. There was only one access path to a lake that we hit. The evening mood was already rising there, and I took enough pictures to take a few more landscape photos with me.
