There is always something new to discover on the Italian roads, whether it’s the entrance gates, the balconies, or the plastering of the house walls, for me, an endless loop of photo opportunities. Milan’s streets are a good example.

2021-06-08 PRAGUE VISIT SOON
Only 3 hours away from Vienna, so I’ll be revisiting Prague this year. A great city for taking pictures. The food and Czech beer are also excellent. Another great advantage is that you can reach most areas on foot without a tram or car.

Toulouse is an exciting city, aviation industry, high tech, and typically French city center with many characters. Again, we rented the public bikes and stepped into this great church on our tour.

2021-06-04 BETWEEN THE MUSEUMS
My second photo from the park between the Art Museum and Natural Museum in Vienna. It takes a lot of patience and skill to cut the shrubs into these shapes. It is a pleasure to look again and again and marvel at the geometry.

2021-06-02 GALLERY IN NANTES
My wife Karin and I briefly parked the rental bikes. Then we saw the entrance to these galleries, which were very unique with a shiny base and wrought iron lights. They housed shops and snack stalls. The artistic design was a welcome occasion for a detour with the camera.

2021-05-31 TRAM IN TORONTO
At some point, I switched to a Red bus with an open viewing deck. It saves a lot of walking on hard concrete and offers an excellent opportunity to take photos. It is essential to get the space outside by the deck to lean out and move around for the pictures.

A park separates the art history and natural history museums in Vienna. There are meticulously cut bushes in round and conical shapes. The park is also famous for running.

In the old town of Como, you are quickly enclosed by the magnificent facades of the monumental houses. Entry for cars is forbidden. Therefore, you can fully focus on taking photos.

2021-05-23 THE ROUTE TO SAN FRANCISCO
Our crew of IT technicians and representatives from Pure Storage took the bike from San Francisco to Sausalito. Back we took a ferry, which gave us an impressive view of San Francisco from the sea.

2021-05-21 WALKING IN THE EVENING IN BARCELONA
The play of colors in the evening, the blue hour, and the golden hour are the fixed points for photographers. In Barcelona, I canceled a dinner invitation and went on a photo tour instead. It has paid off for me.
