In the main square of Bologna, we found a public outdoor cinema. We settled into one of the many armchairs available, enjoying a clear view of the screen. I also snapped some photos of the beautiful surrounding architecture.

I like the flair of the Italian hotels from the 1970s and 80s. Set in the architecture of ancient Italy with the columns and decorations, they bring back the nostalgia of Federico Felllinie’s era.

Capturing photos of well-dressed men in trendy locations always makes for a great opportunity, just like this gentleman strolling past the Campari Bar in a sleek white suit. This particular photo was taken using the Leica M10 camera and Mr. Ding Noxlux 1.1 lens.

2023-07-25 CROSSING THE STREET IN BOLOGNA
In search of a street cafe, I waited for the green traffic light before the zebra crossing. Afterward, I treated myself to espresso and Diet Coke with ice. Shot with the Leica M9 and the Summicron ASPH 50mm F2.

2023-07-18 NEW YORK PARK
After a long walk on hot asphalt, I decided to take a break and stopped by a nearby park. I grabbed a refreshing Cocos drink and settled into a cozy spot under the shade. It was very relaxing and just what I needed to rejuvenate myself.

2023-07-07 THE ITALIAN SAUVIGNON
While my wife Karin was shopping, I looked for a lovely cafe. To my surprise, I ordered a glass of Sauvignon and got three finger food rolls, olives, and chips—perfect Italian gastro service. When my wife visited me briefly, a few snacks were missing very quickly. Bologna is a beautiful city.

2023-07-01 MY DAUGHTER IS IN PARIS
To bridge the rain, we chose an excursion boat. We were able to marvel at the buildings and promenade along the Seine. Shot with the Leica M240.

I went down the stairs from the Seine promenade. My son had already switched to the street before, so it was time for a photo with the Leica M240 and Leica Summicron 50mm.
