2020-06-30 WHEAT FIELD IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

I visited my brother in the border town Laa an der Thaya in Lower Austria. This place is close to the border with the Czech Republic. On a bike trip we passed the border on a dirt road. Endless wheat fields were presented in front of us that reached deep into the Czech Republic. A calm landscape photo to relax.

2020-06-29 THE INDIAN TEMPLE IN SINGAPORE

I was traveling with my son Maro in Little India in Singapore. We bought a mango juice on ice and visited an Indian supermarket. On the main street, we saw the Indian temple. At the entrance, we asked if it was allowed and if we were allowed to take pictures. The guard agreed and led us into the interior. There we were overwhelmed by the splendid decor and the representation of the gods.

2020-06-28 THE OLD COFFEE HOUSE IN VIENNA

Crystal chandeliers, marble floors, brass, and white curtains are the old Viennese coffee houses’ hallmarks. With the hot temperatures, the guests are all sitting outside, ideal for me to take a photo.

2020-06-27  THE STREETS IN SINGAPORE

That was the street that led to the Chinese market hall. I always ate chicken or beef with chard and teriyaki sauce there. The dessert was a coconut-pineapple shake, freshly made—one of my favorite places in Singapore.

Otto Wagner was a famous Austrian architect. The Church of St. Leopold is considered one of the most crucial Art nouveau churches in the world. The photo shows one of the windows with glass paintery and glass ornaments.

Since I was already in New Delhi, I wanted to visit “Little India” in Singapore. I was not disappointed. After entering through the “entrance gate,” my memories of India were immediately awakened, and you quickly forgot that you were in Singapore. I can recommend a visit.

2020-06-23 LUNCH AT FATHER’S DAY

The restaurant on the photo is named “Salon Plafond” and was once owned by the famous German TV-Cook Tim Mälzer. There I was invited to Father’s Day by my family for lunch. I took the burger, I wanted to get sure that I get stuff. After lunch, when we were approaching the exit I shot some photos of this unique location.

It is difficult to resist when you see the delicious illuminated drinks bottles in the vending machines in Tokyo. I was particularly taken with Japanese drinks. The surprise factor also counted here, because I couldn’t read the labels. My daughter Cara is too spoiled for choice here.
