2017-01-31 STREET LIFE IN HONG KONG

If New York ist the “city which never sleeps”, the same is true for Hong Kong. Streets are very crowded, full of life, full of impressions on every corner, a steady flow of people which never stops. A real metropolis … here one typical scene of the streets, shot with a wide angle lens.

2017-01-30 HOUSE IN CARINTHIA

Velden am Wörthersee is one of the most famous summer holiday destinations in Austria (though I visited in the winter). The Wörthersee lake is very clean, you could even drink the water. The architecture of this little town has some really nice buildings with turrets, gables, balconies and special roof tiles.

2017-01-29 DJ FULL IN ACTION AT HIP HOP BALL

The Hip Hop Ball in Vienna is a very new genre, it was the second staging this year. The DJ was dressed in smoking with bow tie and he was playing in full throttle. The location was fashionable and dignified with big crystal chandeliers combined with loud hip hop music, a cool  😎 event  🙂

2017-01-28 BAD WEATHER ON MOUNT FUJI

I was looking forward to take these real cool Mount Fuji photos, where you see the top of the mountain very clear, surrounded with a bit of snow and a bright blue sky. Unfortunately it happened that the mountain at the 5th station at about 2300 meters was completely foggy with heavy wind. It was no chance to see the peak. Nevertheless I took some photos at the observation platform. 🙂

2017-01-27 KARLSPLATZ VIENNA

Karlsplatz is a bigger area with tram stations, cafes, subway and a park. It’s in the heart of Vienna, very near to the Naschmarkt, first district and the Ringstrasse. Also the Third Man – tour starts here.

2017-01-26 GREEN GRASS AND COWS IN THE NETHERLANDS

I never saw a country which is so heavily flat as the Netherlands. I was driving on a house boat on the river Eem and took photos left and right and this photo is representative for most of the landscape around the river. No wonder that this is the country of Gouda, Edam, Beemster …  🙂  with all that fresh grass and healthy cows. 🙂

2017-01-25 STREET WITH RAILS IN NICE

Nice by night, a unique experience, walking through the streets in a mild summer’s night …  But with crossing this street you should be a bit careful and look around, the tram is very calm when it comes along… 🙂

2017-01-24 NEW DELHI’S FASCINATING TEMPLES

In New Delhi our taxi driver was a Sikh and one of the nicest guys I ever met. He invited us to join him visiting the Sikh temple “Gurudwara Bangla Sahib”. I loved the atmosphere in the temple and the surrounding area which was very quiet and relaxing. We even got a Sikh meal, which tasted a bit like a honey-Müsli, named Karah Parshad.  🙂

2017-01-23 DJI PHANTOM FIRST FLIGHT

You can rely on Amazon delivery, the DJI Phantom 4 Pro arrived on time. This weekend I took it for the first flight. The navigation for flying is fairly easy, but to get very accurate videos and photos you have to practice some time. From my first experience, I can recommend this quadcopter, it’s an exciting experience and a really professional tool.  🙂

Here my first Phantom video:

2017-01-22 BERLIN WITH MODERN ARCHITECTURE

Beside the Currywurst  🙂  I have been fascinated by the diverse architectural styles in Berlin. It was interesting driving on the Spree and exploring the buildings which came along the river. I was standing at the reeling and was prepared and ready to shoot  🙂
