2018-05-16 WATER SHOW IN DUBAI
One of the exciting events in Dubai is the water show near the Burj Khalifa. I think it starts at about 7 pm and is a great spectacle. I started with a tripod and was rejected by a guardian immediately, then I had to switch to handheld shooting.

2018-05-15 BURGGARTEN IN THE LATE AFTERNOON
The Burggarten in Vienna is a park for chilling out on the lawn, driving with skateboards or having a good time with a simple walking session between high broadleafs which spend shadows during the afternoon heat. For a break, you can visit a lounge where you get cold Aperol Sprizz.

2018-05-14 EDINBURGH THROUGH CASTLE WINDOW
Walking around in Edinburgh Castle I tried different compositions and sceneries at my photography tour. Here in the photo, I shot through a castle window with the city on the ground. Shooting from such high places replaces drone flying and brings you aerial shots without too much effort.

At the bridge on the way to Prague Castle, you get the view of the moat which surrounds the ancient castle.

2018-05-12 NIGHT IN THE CITY OF PRAGUE
Walking through cities in the night is one of my hobbies. I like the lights in different colors, the illuminated buildings and some cafes and bars where I can walk in for a drink. In one hand a camera, over the shoulder the second camera and always ready to catch some pictures. At the same time, I have to be an entertaining companion for my wife. 🙂

2018-05-11 SCHLUMBERGER CHAMPAGNE CELLARS
Although I live very near, I never visited the wine and champagne cellars of Schlumberger champagne producer factory. A unique experience walking through the vaults, built from thousands of bricks. After the exhibition, you get a glass of champagne, which is included in the entry ticket.

2018-05-10 SHEIKH ZAYED MOSQUE IN THE NIGHT
This was the last photo of my session at the Sheikh Zayed mosque. I was impressed by the lighting of the towers and domes. At the exit I took my belongings form a safe and my wife gave back the veil. We went to the parking place and took our way back to Dubai. Even on the highway, I saw many illuminated mosques which were fascinating, I will come back for sure.

2018-05-09 UNDER A BRIDGE IN LITTLE VENICE LONDON
Little Venice in London is worth a visit, its unique boats and canals bring some variety to the urban jungle. On the riverside are cool bars and restaurants. I even found a bar on a boat where I had a pint of cider.

2018-05-08 CAFE MUSEUM IN VIENNA
Vienna is famous for its cafes which often represent old-fashioned stylings of the interiors. Wooden walls, seat covers soft as velvet, and tables with marble tabletops. The coffee is a matter of taste, I prefer the short and strong Italian espresso, there are only few coffee houses which offer this sort of coffee. A good tip is to look at the coffee machine, if they have an instant-coffee-machine, then avoid it.

2018-05-07 VIEW FROM SHEIKH ZAYED MOSQUE
Sheikh Zayed mosque offers many views which are exciting, as here, from the inside to the nightly scenery outside. There are thousands of artful ornaments and details. One of the top visits in Abu Dhabi.
