Wollzeile is a lovely street that connects Stephansplatz with the Ringstrasse. It is lined with many shops and restaurants, and there is a lot to admire and photograph.

Düsseldorf made a positive impression on me, and the architecture and city life has much to offer. My wife was often on the way with her iPhone, and I with the Leica M10.

2022-02-20 SUNSET OVER THE PACIFIC
On Highway One, there was this excellent opportunity to photograph the vast sunset. I told the driver to stop at the next opportunity. It is often only a matter of minutes before conditions change and the sun appears differently. In the meantime I have prepared the settings of my Sony A7R2 and was ready to shoot.

If I like a delicious croissant, I go to Cafe Paremi in Vienna. Crispy on the outside and soft as butter on the inside, they know how to make French pastries.

The old mansions with long corridors always remind me of The Shining. It was safer in the Otto Wagner Villa of the painter Ernst Fuchs. And the premises were available for a lovely photo motif.

2022-02-12 GOING HOME ON SUNDAY
Last Sunday, my wife Karin and I chose the way through the Judengasse in the first district of Vienna. I had my Sony A7R IV and Sony 24mm 1.4 GM lens, and this combo delivers excellent night photography.

I was fascinated by this dense palm forest near the Atlas Mountains. Creepers have spread to the trunks. The leaves got a magical glow from the sun.

The island of Sylt offers very balanced yet exciting perspectives in the eastern part of the island with the interplay of the foothills of the sea that hit the promontories and thus form extensive harmonies. A landscape shot with the Leica M8.
