2020-08-22  SWITZERLAND, THE CLASSIC LOOK

Swiss cheese, watches, and the mountains are the classic looks of Switzerland. Since my wife didn’t want to fly during these times, we took the seven-hour drive to Switzerland. 2020-08-19 MY SON WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND

My son is standing on the Dachstein Glacier and shooting a photo of his girlfriend, Vickie. It’s so easy and fast shooting photos with the iPhone. I wonder why the camera manufacturers cannot make a similar photo quality with the “Automatic” mode for faster shooting. Often the pictures of the professional cameras don’t do such a proper software correction OOC ( out of camera).

2020-08-14 THE DAM AT THE DANUBE

The protective dam was built in the floodplains along the Danube after the flood of the century. It stretches for tens of kilometers and has also been developed as a cycle path. A combination of the useful with the sporty.

2020-08-12 TRAM IN BUDAPEST

Often the simple things impress me more like the sights. I immediately fell in love with the tram lines that run next to the Danube. That’s why I took a lot of photos there.

2020-08-10 STAIRWAY IN BUDAPEST

The stairway reminded me of M. C. Escher. Though ist was no endless, infinite loop, the stairwell in the circular room was someone you don’t see every day.

2020-08-08 DACHSTEIN IN THE MORNING

For visiting the Dachstein glacier, it is necessary to reserve the tickets for the cable car. Since the bookings were almost full for the whole day, we were able to get a ride at 8 a.m. Therefore we could still see the remains of the sunrise at 3000 meters.

2020-08-06 CAFE CENTRAL IN VIENNA

Vienna has many venerable coffee houses. Keeping up the coffee house culture is one of the city’s flagships. Unfortunately, some of the cafes have forgotten how to make good coffee. It would help if they remembered what makes a coffee house, ultimately perfect coffee enjoyment.

2020-08-04 ACTION ON THE BRIDGES

If you rent a bike in Amsterdam, be prepared that you get an adventure too. The bridges are often crowded, and you have to navigate between bikers, pedestrians, and some smoked freaks. It’s one of the things which makes the city famous and is included in its DNA.
