My nightly walking tour started from the Hong Kong Observation wheel, next I went over a bridge near the Apple store and then directly into downtown. From time to time I stopped for taking photos of the city lights 🙂
This was a very cool event with fully crowded halls of the Toronto Convention Centre and star guests like Stan Lee or William Shatner. Outside you could grab good hot dogs with sauerkraut and relish. Many of the visitors were disguised like comic and science fiction heroes. For this pano I used my iPhone.
By visiting relatives in Cleveland we went to the docks at lake Erie. It was very hot that day. Since it was Monday morning there were only few people around and I took the opportunity to take some photos with my Leica X Vario.
I cannot spell the name of this fast food store, but that really looks Japanese, the font, the styling, the layout… Since I hadn’t the time to try their products I only took a quick photo.
Stegersbach is a spa where you can get an overall health package. Thermal springs, different saunas like bio sauna, herbal sauna, infrared sauna, fitness center and all kind of massages, with hot stones, Chinese … Breakfast and food are very good, after 3 or 4 days you feel rebuilt again.
In Macau you get some kind of Las Vegas deja-vu, the hotels and interiors look very similar. Macau doesn’t have a real strip, this is one point for Las Vegas and they haven’t as many hotels, but what I could see many are currently under construction.
In Vienna you can choose to visit many buildings from emperor or king epochs. One of my favorites is the Albertina, beneath exhibitions of great painters you can visit the muses hall, like here on the photo, and other interesting rooms and saloons. Since no tripod is allowed, you have to give your best handheld. 🙂

As I booked the hotel room in Hong Kong I added the wish in the comments section, that I want a room on a very high floor. My wish got fulfilled, the room was on the 26th floor with a view around Causeway Bay with dozens of skyscrapers around me 🙂
The Palace Hotel in Malta offers a pool on the roof. It gives the impression that you swim over the city. With the sinking sun in the background this makes a nice evening, particularly if you, after swimming, sit down on the soft rattan chairs and you treat yourself with an Aperol Sprizz.
