Tradition is firmly grounded in the minds of the Indians. The women are mostly clothed with colorful and wide dresses, hair is formed in traditional ways and often bedecked with appropriate jewelry. But between the traditions the smartphone has established its status of the most used item.
Yesterday it was unforeseen that I got in the park with the Mozart monument in Vienna. Since I have my iPhone with me always I took it to grab this photo. Even it was in the night, it worked not too bad.

For the competition “Which city has the coolest taxis?” Hong Kong will get a place at the top. They have an impressive chrome grille and the seats inside look like living room chairs. Sometimes you will see some curtains at the windows. For a passenger the ride is a real joy. 🙂
This is the path you have to follow to arrive at the Lotus temple in New Delhi. It’s an endless coming and going, before you enter the temple you have to pull off your shoes and entrance is only allowed in small groups. Within the temple there is absolute silence and a meditative atmosphere.
For relaxing here you have the ingredients: glistening sea, blue sky, warm breath of air, ships on the horizon, strolling on the boardwalk and looking after a cafe for some espresso or cappuccino.
With limited space balconies are some kind of luxury for buildings in Hong Kong. You don’t see them very often, they make the constructions more expensive and time consuming. The same will be true with the prices of those apartments.
From Leopoldsberg (425 m) you get a view over the whole city of Vienna. I prefer night shots where I can catch the glimmering lights of the city. Often such a photo session lasts about 3-4 hours, where I test most of my lenses and cameras. It’s always interesting if you compare the results and think about the settings you have made to get the specific looks.
The landscape of the Swiss-Italian border is a real eye catcher. Not a bad view, isn’ it? It combines both, best of Switzerland and best of Italy. It’s easy to cross the border, Switzerland is no EU member, but there are no real border controls.
There is so much life in the streets of Hong Kong, often it seems that everyone is in a hurry. But that’s common for all of the big cities of the world, the cities which never sleep. Cool to participate and immerse in the city.
