2024-12-02, OFFICE BUILDING IN PRAGUE

From my hotel room, I looked directly at this office building. The photo’s detail makes it seem abstract and well-suited for a Kafka story.

2022-10-14 OVER THE ROOFS OF PRAGUE

Prague’s rooftops have their fascination. The symbiosis of the many towers and the geometrically correctly placed roof tiles set the striking, vast horizon over the roofs of Prague.

2022-09-01 NIGHT LIGHTS IN PRAGUE

The city of Prague is the dream location for many photographers. The nocturnal impressions are unique; the environment contributes to the deep mood of the night. The interplay of light and shadow works perfectly in Prague.

2021-08-03 LITTLE TUNNELS

Then I was able to find small hidden tunnels in the main square in Prague. Perfect for a high-contrast black and white photo.

2021-07-31 ARCHITECTURE TOUR IN PRAGUE

In Prague, just walking around, you come across many motifs that make the camera overheat. I concentrate less on the names and history of the buildings. Instead, I use my focus on capturing as much as possible with photos.

2021-02-23 ABOVE THE ROOFS OF PRAGUE

The many nested roofs with the reddish roof tiles and pointed church towers in between are among Prague’s hallmarks. It is advisable to go to one of the observation towers to capture the city’s full surroundings in photos.

2021-02-19 HALL IN PRAGUE CASTLE

It was imposing, imposing this hall in Prague Castle. Massive structures and lines that set accents on the vaulted ceiling. You should plan at least half a day for this site and have enough extra batteries for the camera.

2020-10-25 THE STRANGE MUSEUM

A strange museum in Prague. A mixture of Thanksgiving, stone statues, and Eastern bloc flair. There was also a cafe around the corner. I bought a Coke there and took a few photos of the furnishings.

2020-06-10 CHURCH IN PRAGUE

As I saw the photo on the weekend, I couldn’t remember which church it was, but I think it was near Prague Castle. The staircases on the left and right, which lead to the higher platform, the old masonry, and the light effects, contribute to a unique experience. In the end, I decided to convert the picture to black and white, which underscores the mystery effects.

2020-06-05 CHARLES BRIDGE IN THE NIGHT

I could use the parapet of a restaurant as a replacement for a tripod. So I was able to get the light-stars which are impossible to achieve with a hand-held camera and a high f-stop. I often search after tripod-replacements, because I don’t want to carry tripods; usually, they stay in my suitcase. 🙂
