While walking around Tokyo, we came across this Japanese temple. The composition in the photo shows off the red pillars and the gold-decorated entrance gates.

2022-08-24 THE BIG GREEN MOUNTAIN
I think the area where I took this photo was between Uri and Schwyz, the two original Swiss cantons. My wife and I looked for a parking space and then went between the meadows to take photos of the Swiss mountains.

2022-08-22 WARM EVENING COLORS
I have this view of the surroundings from my house. I’m impressed by the colors of the Leica M8. The camera brought the warm colors of the summer evening to the photo to match the mood.

In Naples, there is a photo motif on every corner. I was fascinated by the harmony of the old buildings with the dense palm trees and time-honored statues.

2022-08-18 PARK IN LONDON
My wife Karin and I recovered from the heat and stayed on a shady park bench. After a short time, I grabbed my Sony RX1R and took some lovely photos in the park. The title of the picture is “Businessman in the park.”

2022-08-16 STILL LIFE IN THE PARK
My wife got my sister-in-law’s two dogs to look after. In the evening we always liked to go on a trip to the park to give the dogs exercise. At the same time a good opportunity for me to take the Leica M8 out of the box and take some park photos with the motto “still life.”

You often hear that less is more. A good example is this florist in Naples. A few well-chosen flowers, so you can purposefully choose the most beautiful flowers for yourself when buying.

2022-08-04 THE SUN IN MALIBU
After an hour of waiting, we were able to get a seat at the Malibu Pier. Over time the sun went down and I was able to take photos of the sunset with my Leica M10.

I always admire the ability to balance, ride, and jump between the hills and pips with the roller skates. Venice Beach is one of the meccas of skating.
