One of the most fascinating cities of the world is New Delhi. Modern city areas, really astonishing sights, extreme traffic, stray dogs, apes and beautiful parks. This photo was taken near the Lotus Temple.
If you have the chance take it, even if the lane is a bit longer, it’s really worth to go up and have this wonderful 360° view of the city. You can see most of the sights and will never forget these exciting impressions. On the top there are huge bells, for security reasons there is also a grid but the clearances between the wire have exactly the size, that you can place a lens through it and take photos.
The residents of those houses are rewarded with an unobstructed view on Lake Maggiore. But a Vespa or car are required to reach your front door, if you try to walk up those serpentines you need a good condition and get wet from sweat very fast in hot summer.
The Austrian National Library gives you many motives for photos. Wooden interiors, marble statues, ornamented pillars, ceiling frescos and shelves with tens of thousands of books. I wonder if those books have been read by anyone, but one thing is sure, they have been written (mostly by hand I think).
Lake Maggiore is a very nice and clean lake in southern Switzerland. You find mediterranean vegetation and can take ship tours to the cities of the lake. If you are eating in a restaurant, often it happens that there come some beggars in form of seagulls. Give them some pieces of bread and they will be happy.
The Dakota building was on my to do list to visit in New York, because John Lennon lived there. At passing by I looked at the building and I wondered, that there were some windows which were dark or some kind of cabinets or wooden panels behind. However I liked the building and the surroundings. It was also the home of movie stars.
Often you get a good impression of Asian culture, even if you are not in Asia, as here in a museum in Milan with many interesting exhibits. Inside Asia, outside pure Italy. What do you need more for an unforgettable day?
After a long bus tour through the streets of Hong Kong it got night already. On the way to the ferry I couldn’t resist to take a HDR photo series of the Peninsula, though I hadn’t my tripod with me. I like hotels in the night with bright lightning and cool architecture.
Lake Neusiedl is a steppe sea, with a depth of only 1.5 meters and very muddy water. Sometime it gets really windy, then it’s a paradise for kite surfing and sailing. If weather is calm you can rent electro boats and drive with them through the reeds. Evening is nice for having a cool drink at a bar and taking photos 🙂
Even in Seattle you can find some places with houses built directly at the sea, where you can put in with a boat and walk directly into your home. That’s really cool. If you go out of the house you have the waterway in front of you.
